Its complete selection procedure is based on only two major stages, Stage First – in which a Prelims Exam (Online)  will be conducted which will be of 100 marks which is just qualifying in nature.

In Stage Second, a mains exam (Online) will be conducted which is important.

1. The main exam will consist of an objective test (multiple choice questions) carrying a total of 200 marks.
2. The duration of this exam will be 120 minutes, with different time limits for each section or the entire exam. The exam will consist of 5 different sections.

✅Note: (1). There will be negative marking of 1/4 in the mains exam.

(2). Your exam will be in bilingual English/Hindi (except only English for English Language).

After the Prelims Exam, an initial qualifying merit will be made which will be divided category wise and state wise and this is just qualifying merit, that’s it, the marks of the Prelims Exam will not be added to the final merit. You just have to qualify and move forward. These marks will decide whether you are qualifying for the second stage i.e. Mains exam or not.
